Career background

I am an experienced and passionate UX designer with over 10 years in IT. I first started out as a requirements analyst to after a few years finding myself in the world of UX and I never left since.
My primary goal is to simplify complexity and create user-friendly solutions. By spending time on user research to get a deep understanding of user needs, I strive to make seamless and intuitive digital experiences. With empathy, curiosity and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, I tackle challenges with a willingness to learn even more. My experience with projects across various industries enables me to transform complex systems into engaging user experiences that exceed user expectations.

Me, myself and my adventures

As the start page might reveal, I am an adventure lover. And an adventure does not always mean going to the extreme (like hiking to Everest Base Camp). It can be more simple, like trying impro comedy or life drawing/croquis. I have come to enjoy getting out of my comfort zone because I know the feeling of making it out on the other end is so fulfilling.
But it’s not always about getting out of my comfort zone, I also just happen to love trying out new things. Getting new experiences and maybe finding something new to love.

I found the love of my life (not a person, a hobby) by being spontaneous and just listening to my guts (and also my mother). It was the summer of 2007 and weekend plans with some friends got cancelled last minute. I didn’t want to waste the weekend so I recalled my mother speaking about a dance camp happening a few hours away from Stockholm. I decided to sign up for their beginners weekend, rented a car and just went. I had no dancing experience and didn’t know much about this dance called lindy hop but after this weekend my life was changed forever. Not only did I learn to dance lindy hop, I met so many new friends over the coming years, I was in a show group and performed in so many cool places, I became a teacher and found out I’m really good at teaching, I became the chairman of the board for a dance society and learned how to work in a board, I was a volunteer coordinator for years at one of the biggest swing dance camps here in Sweden and so so much more.
And yes, I still go out to dance lindy hop from time to time although my new dance addiction is bachata…

I have so many stories to tell, all the journeys and lessons learned along the way and I love telling them to anyone who’s interested. I don’t brag about all the things I have done, I know everyone has their own stories to tell and I love hearing about them too.
